Does the City of Weston Lakes collect taxes?

No. The City of Weston Lakes is a non-taxing entity. Any questions regarding taxes should be directed to the Fort Bend County Central Appraisal District or the Fort Bend County Tax Assessor/Collector.

Is permitting required by the city of Weston Lakes?

The only permitting required is a development/floodplain permit for building. Please be sure to contact the Weston Lakes Property Owners Association to make sure you meet all of their requirements.

Is permitting required for properties on Bowser Road that sit outside of Weston Lakes Subdivision, but still lies within the city limits of Weston Lakes?

Again, only development/floodplain permits are required. Any questions regarding septic systems or wells should be directed to Fort Bend County Engineering Department or the Fort Bend County Environmental Office.

Where is City Hall located?

Currently, City Hall is located at 8045 FM 359 Suite 200 in Fulshear, directly beside the post office. Our hours are Monday and Wednesday, 11am-5pm.

When are City Council Meetings?

City Council meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the Weston Lakes Country Club ballroom. Public is encouraged to attend! Agendas are posted at City Hall, The Weston Lakes Clubhouse and on the City website.

When are City elections?

City elections are held the first Tuesday of November. Elections for Alderman and mayor are staggered every two years, with one year being the Mayor and 2 Alderman, and the next year being 3 Alderman.
